The HBA of Northern Kentucky operates the longest running and one of the largest apprenticeship training programs under the auspices of the National Association of Home Builders in the country. The Program began in 1967 and continues to provide a well-trained workforce for the local construction industry. Many of the Association's successful businesses are owned and operated by graduates of the Program who are in turn sending their employees back to the same Program which they attended. Training classes in Carpentry, Electricity and Heating and A/C are taught by professional tradespeople for tradespeople. The HBA trades training classes operate September through March of each year and meet two nights per week for three hours per evening.
