Women's Community Action Council

Chartered more than 40 years ago, the Women's Community Action Council is a local chapter of the national organization, affiliated with the National Association of Home Builders. The local chapter was founded to support the professional development of women in the home building industry. The purpose of the council is to promote the local construction industry, primarily through education and community service.

The council meets monthly and produces the membership newsletter, "Bits and Pieces". It's a great way for women to meet and network with other women in the home building business.

Membership in the local chapter also affords affiliation with the state and national Women's Council.
