Carpentry Program
The carpentry curriculum was completely revised in 2008. The two year curriculum meets the needs and desires of today’s employers. Students are trained in rough, finish, and specialty areas of the trade. The Carpentry Program is the most hands-on of the three post-secondary trades taught at the Enzweiler Apprentice Training Program. The Cutter Construction Carpentry Shop is equipped with high end power tools, including a SawStopTM table saw, which offers advanced technology to prevent injury. The carpentry program is split into two levels: one and two. Carpentry one consists of courses 1 and 2. Carpentry two consists of courses 3 and 4. Each level is offered each year; therefore, students wishing to enter the program would always begin in September. Classes need to be taken in sequential order to qualify for the HBI Certificate.
